Appointments at Aylsham
Surgeries in Aylsham are held by appointment only. GP appointments are normally for 10 minutes.
Every week Monday to Thursday we have an early surgery from 07:30-08:30, for those people who are not able to attend the surgery during normal working hours.
Improved Access
We are now able to offer more primary care appointments on evenings and weekends.
- Telephone Consultations – speak to a GP during the evening.
- Primary Care Hubs – evening and weekend appointments in North Norfolk.
- Enhanced Care Homes Team – dedicated team for care homes to support patients in this setting.
- Physio-first – easy access to a physio for muscular skeletal problems.
Appointments at our branch surgery in Cawston
Once a month, the surgery commences at 09:00 in the community rooms in Jubilee Close. The doctor will leave when the last patient is seen. There is no nurse or receptionist present, and the doctor works alone. No appointment is necessary for the surgery in Cawston, although we would ask that you contact the Aylsham Surgery in advance, so that the doctor can have details of your medical records with them when you are seen.
Urgent Appointments
We will always see patients the same day if urgent medical attention is needed, but it may not be possible for you to see a doctor of your choice.
Cancellations
We know people forget things, cancelling GP appointments being one of them. Remember to cancel your appointment if you don’t need it. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so that your appointment can be offered to someone else.
